About IFP Group Powertrain Technologies
IFP Group Powertrain Technologies is a developer of technological innovations for the mobility of the future. The products and software solutions proposed by IFP Group Powertrain Technologies provide a response to new mobility usages and needs. To address the challenges of evolving mode of travel and urgent climate and environmental issues, IFP Group Powertrain Technologies develops core technologies designed to optimize energy consumption and cut emissions of transport. Its research focuses on the following fields: high-efficiency IC engines, vehicle electrification, fuel optimization & emission reduction and connected vehicle. IFP Group Powertrain Technologies concentrates primarily on land transport, along with industrial applications (off-road, agricultural vehicles) and heavy-duty vehicles, but also on aviation and maritime transport. All of its research is conducted within the context of the IFP Group Powertrain Technologies Transports Energie Carnot Institute, aiming to support research partnerships with industry.
